Meet Ellen

Hi.  I’m Ellen.  I like food.  I love eating it, looking at it, smelling it cooking it…I might actually be a little bit obsessed.

That’s good news for you, though, because there is a serious amount of deliciousness in my life and the time has come for me to spread the word.  I’m a  twenty-something brand new college grad, I have suddenly found myself with-kitchen and I can’t wait to put it to use!

So what does that mean?  Easy, cheap, accessible but DELICIOUS recipes.  Get excited.

I’m mostly untrained and 100% untamed.  I’m the kind of person who decides (with Erika of “Erika’s Famous Banana Bread” fame) around 9 PM that I really want some english muffins and not just that but I want to MAKE the english muffins from SCRATCH then discover around 10PM (after using every dish in my kitchen) that I don’t actually own a muffin ring (duh…who does?) so I create one out of foil and a cereal box (real life) and eat around midnight.

Now, I’m not saying that you have to do that.  I’ll do it for you.  That way you can have a regular life AND delicious homemade english muffins! (Seriously… not hard-I’ll show you how).

If you have read this far and all of that sounds good to you then: WELCOME!! Thank you for spending a minute with my rambling. I hope you’re hungry.

Hi mom.

Hi Daniel.

It must have been a dark, dark time. Love ‘ya, sweetie….keep on cookin’!
